About our home

The Applewood is a newly built care home in Giffard Park offering high quality residential and residential dementia care.

Located on Wolverton Road, adjacent to a delightful orchard and wildflower garden, The Applewood offers beautiful accommodation across three communities, with design that reflects the area’s history and natural beauty while maintaining a contemporary approach. A range of modern and beautifully decorated bedrooms are available to choose from, all with en-suite facilities and offering scenic views of the home’s gardens and surrounding landscape. Residents are also encouraged to take an active part in community life and can enjoy regular trips, whether it be a stroll out in nature by Grand Union Canal, or visiting historic places of interest, such as Bletchley Park.

The Applewood care home can be found just ten mintues from the M1 (exit 14), less than five miles from the city centre. Local attractions include Great Linford Manor Park, Tongwell Lake, and Milton Keynes Theatre.

Public transport

Bus stops close to the home on Wolverton Road allow easy travel to Olney, Sherington, Great Linford, Pennyland and Central Milton Keynes. Milton Keynes train station is also just ten minutes away by taxi, connecting to Preston, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Crewe and Manchester.
