At Bluebell View, we have a range of beautifully decorated dining areas where our residents can relax and enjoy an intimate dining experience with family and friends. In addition to our popular dining rooms, residents can also enjoy mealtimes in our peaceful courtyard garden on sunny days, or the ever-popular treat of breakfast in bed.

Our popular seasonal menus provide a vast choice of nutritious and homemade meals, from local Shropshire dishes to Great British classics. To start the day, a hearty cooked breakfast is always a popular choice, but there is always a wide range of options available for those with a smaller appetite.
 
Heart of the Community

We support our residents to take an active part in the Oswestry community here at Bluebell View, especially as our central location places us at the very heart of the town.

From building friendships with our neighbours in local community groups and schools, our residents also benefit from the many activities on offer in the area – from admiring the historic Tudoresque buildings in Oswestry town centre to enjoying a picnic in The Cae Glas Park, or even visiting Oswestry’s famous annual balloon festival.
 
Wellbeing

In addition to trips out into the local community, residents also enjoy taking part in a range of activities at Bluebell View via our extensive wellbeing programme, which is carefully designed to suit our residents’ varying preferences, hobbies and interests.

From exercise classes, cookery sessions, flower arranging and performances from local entertainers, we arrange a variety of group activities for everyone to enjoy. There are also plenty of opportunities for residents to get involved in the day-to-day running of our home; whether it’s helping in the garden, delivering residents’ post, helping in the café or even joining the planning committee for events at Bluebell View.

We recognise that some residents may prefer to live their lives more privately and independently of others; the idea of our wellbeing programme is to help residents achieve whatever it is that gives them their own personal sense of wellbeing.

From our Care Assistants and Nurses to our Chefs and Wellbeing Coordinators, the whole team at Bluebell View are here to help you settle into our warm and welcoming home.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the care sector, our friendly Home Manager Michelle leads the team at Bluebell View to deliver the kindest possible care to our residents, supporting them to live their best possible life. Working alongside Michelle is our team of dedicated Care Assistants and Senior Care Assistants, who receive dedicated training and support to deliver high quality care day in, day out, recognising our residents’ individual needs.

Our team of registered Nurses are also on hand to deliver professional nursing care to residents with more complex needs, with support from our highly skilled and qualified Nursing Assistants.

To enable the delivery of kind care at Bluebell View is our team of wonderful support colleagues.

Our Resident Liaison Manager and Home Administrator provide an all-encompassing role to our team, providing that all important friendly welcome and conducting a wide range of duties essential to the day-to-day running of our home.

Our Wellbeing Coordinators work closely with our nursing and care teams to ensure residents enjoy a meaningful lifestyle at Bluebell View, with a range of activities planned inside the home and with the local community.

Led by our Head Chef, our catering team ensures we provide balanced, nutritious and delicious meals to meet the needs of our residents, while our housekeeping teams work tirelessly to keep our home clean, tidy and beautifully presented throughout.

Last but by no means least, our Site Maintenance Officers keep our home safe and well maintained inside and out so that residents can enjoy a home from home experience.



Introducing our Home Manager, Michelle Middleton-Price

 As a Registered Nurse, Michelle has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for residents.

For me, kind care is caring from your heart, and hoping that you have cared for residents in the same way that you would like your loved ones to be cared for. Care to me, means going that extra mile and ensuring that all needs are supported.
