About our home

Lydgate Lodge has all the finishing touches residents would expect from a warm and welcoming home, with beautiful social spaces, attractive décor and freely accessible, secure, gardens.

All 64 bedrooms are en-suite, enabling the home to deliver person-centred care in a dignified manner, promoting independence as far as possible. Your stylish en-suite room comes equipped with fitted furniture, a flat screen TV, mini fridge, Wi-Fi access and telephone point, so when you aren’t joining in with an activity in one of our beautiful day spaces, you can enjoy spending time in your room and keep in contact with friends and family whenever you wish.

Where are we?

Located on the outskirts of Batley, Lydgate Lodge is a short drive from the town centre, as well as Ossett and Dewsbury. Lydgate Lodge is also easily accessible from the M62 (exit 28). Local attractions include the Bagshaw Museum, The Mill Outlet and Garden Centre, and Walton Park.

Public Transport

There are bus stops available outside the home on Soothill Lane with routes to Wakefield and Dewsbury. Batley train station can also be found less than one mile from Lydgate Lodge with routes to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wigan.
