About our home

Forthbank is situated in the peaceful residential area of Kildean in Stirling. This friendly, purpose-built care home with 68 beds offers nursing and nursing dementia care.

This welcoming home offers a choice of sitting and dining areas, all with simple furnishings chosen for maximum comfort. The lovely landscaped garden, which is looked after by some Residents, is a favourite location in which to relax or socialise with friends and family. All our bright and comfortable bedrooms and living areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Some bedrooms have river views.

The home’s caring team has created an appealing family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat, celebrate and plan special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support Residents’ mind, body and soul.

We are conveniently situated in the Kildean area of Stirling, just a short drive from the city centre and close to the M9 (Junction 10). From the motorway, follow signs for Stirling and take the A84 (Drip Road) towards the town. The home is located along Drip Road with easy access and free on-site parking for visitors.

By Bus
Regular bus services run between Stirling city centre, Raploch, and Kildean, with stops located on Drip Road just a short walk from the home. Please check local timetables for the most up-to-date service information.

By Train
