Mugdock House Care Home
Located in the peaceful residential community of Bearsden, in East Dumbartonshire, Mugdock House is a friendly care home with 64 beds offering nursing and nursing dementia care.
Mugdock House underwent an extensive refurbishment programme in 2022 which transformed communal areas including dining rooms, lounges/day rooms, reception area, bathrooms, kitchenette, and corridors. During the refurbishment, each area was thoughtfully deigned to enhance the daily life of every Resident.
Living with us
With sitting rooms, space for Residents to pursue their hobbies and interests and a lovely dining room, Mugdock House has a host of places in which to relax, dine, exercise, socialise and be creative including a cinema room and salon. The delightful landscaped garden and patio is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family, and is happily looked after by some of our Residents. The bright, comfortable bedrooms all include a TV with a DVD player and both the bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. There is also a private dining room where Residents can enjoy family meals at an extra charge. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support mind, body and soul.
