About our home

Newfield has all the finishing touches residents would expect from a warm and welcoming home, with beautiful social spaces, attractive décor and freely accessible, secure, gardens.

All 64 bedrooms are en-suite, enabling the home to deliver person-centred care in a dignified manner, promoting independence as far as possible. Your stylish en-suite room comes equipped with fitted furniture, a flat screen TV, mini fridge, Wi-Fi access and telephone point, so when you aren’t joining in with an activity in one of our beautiful day spaces, you can enjoy spending time in your room and keep in contact with friends and family whenever you wish.

Located a 10-minute walk from Castleford town centre, Newfield Lodge is easily accessible via the M62 (exit 32). Less than 15-minutes drive from historic Pontefract, local attractions include Carlton Lanes shopping centre, Pontefract Racecourse, Pontefract Castle, and Xscape.

Public Transport

The closest bus stop can be found on Pontefract Road with connections to Leeds, Pontefract and Castelford town centre. Castelford train station is just a 20 minute walk away, with routes to Leeds, York, Manchester and Wakefield.
