About our home

At the bottom of the Gleniffer Braes Country Park on the outskirts of Paisley, Hillside View is an attractive and spacious care home with 57 beds offering nursing dementia care.

A modern home, Hillside View has a wide choice of spots for its Residents to relax and dine in, including five sitting rooms and two dining areas. The enclosed garden, which is looked after by some of the Residents, presents the perfect place to spend time socialising with friends and family. The bright, comfortable bedrooms and living areas are all easily accessible by wheelchair.

The home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Residents are invited to decorate their rooms with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings so that it feels just like home. Daily life is carefully designed to support mind, body and soul.

By Car

We are easy to reach by car, situated in the Glenburn area of Paisley. From Paisley town centre, follow signs for Glenburn Road, then turn onto Nethercraigs Road — the home is located on the left-hand side. If travelling from the M8, take Junction 27 (Paisley) and follow directions towards Glenburn. Free parking is available on-site for visitors.

By Bus

Several local bus routes serve the Glenburn area, with stops just a short walk from Nethercraigs Road. Regular services run from Paisley town centre and surrounding areas — please check local timetables for the most up-to-date information.

By Train

The nearest train station is Paisley Gilmour Street, approximately a 10-minute drive from the home. Taxis are available from outside the station, or you can take a local bus service towards Glenburn.
