‘Appy time at Roseland CourtColleagues at Roseland Court recently met with a Relative of a Resident and discussed the success of improved communication with an app.

As this was useful to the Resident and would be helpful to others in the home, Colleagues decided to purchase a tablet and use the app as a helpful communication tool for those who struggle.

The tablet has so far aided many Residents in the home as they have this added tool to assist them when required, with Wellbeing Colleagues educating themselves on the apps functions so they are on hand to help.

Lynn Ripley, Home Manager, commented: “This is such a good example of putting the Resident’s needs at the heart of the home, and it has already shown that this simple change has opened up a world of communication for Residents who have struggled previously.”
