Planting and gardening at Hailsham House care homeResidents and staff have been putting their gardening gear on and going outdoors for a spot of horticulture this summer.

Everyone at the home have been putting their botany skills to the test by planting seasonal bedding plants, pruning the greenery and giving the garden a good tidy.

Leonard Killick, Hailsham House Resident, remarked, “Planting for colour is hard work as I'm not 20 anymore!”

Residents favourite part of getting outdoors is so they can relax in the garden and watching the birds in the trees. One commented, “We are so lucky to have such beautiful gardens.”
