Residents at HC-One’s Perry Locks care home were delighted to welcome representatives from Zoolab on the 12th March as they brought along a variety of animals to the home.
Everyone sat in the lounge as they were shown snakes, snails, centipedes and spiders, with some opting to hold the animals, and others choosing to simply look from a distance.
The Residents enjoyed listening to a selection of facts and information given to them by the animal handler, as they asked questions themselves and admired the animals.
One Resident remarked: “this has been fantastic fun, I enjoyed holding the animals.”
