Zoo Lab visits Stirling Care HomeResidents at HC-One’s Forth Bank Care Home in Kildean, Stirling enjoyed a visit from some unusual animals when Zoo Lab visited the home.

The team at Forth Bank organised for the Zoo Lab to visit the Residents with exotic animals including snakes, spiders, a giant snail and lizards of many different textures and colours. The Zoo Lab representatives and took the animals around the room giving each Resident the opportunity to touch and hold them.

Laughter rang out across the room when the millipede was brought out and went at top speed across the Resident’s hands.

All of the Residents were keen to get involved and really enjoyed holding the unusual creatures, especially Sandy Allan. His eye’s lit up when he say the brightly coloured lizard so the handler took Sandy’s hand and let him stroke the lizard.

Isobel Jordan commented:

“I didn’t think snakes were so warm and smooth!”
