Residents at Daneside Mews care home were delighted to welcome Zoo lab to their home as they were visited by a variety of different creatures.
Everyone enjoyed some hands-on animal encounters as they held exotic snakes, frogs, snails and even a tarantula spider.
Residents particularly enjoyed getting up close to the grass snake and centipede as they learnt some interesting facts about each of the creepy crawlies.
Many questions were asked by Residents, as they found out information about each animal’s eating habits and life cycles.
Nicola Blackwood, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed this afternoon. Learning about new animals is always an exciting activity, and we look forward to welcoming Zoo lab to the home again soon.”
