Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Primrose House care home were delighted to welcome representatives from Zoo lab to the home, as they held a session with a variety of animals.
The session was focussed on the texture of the different animals, including snakes, rats and lizards, with some Residents opting to handle them, comparing the feel of each one.
One Resident, Maureen, felt very brave as she chose to handle each of the animals, with another Resident, Norma, remarking at how much the centipede tickled her hand.
Alison Brown, home manager, commented: “It’s always so lovely to see all of the Residents happy and enjoying new experiences.”
