Residents at HC-One’s Chaseview care home in Romford, Essex welcome local children from Tubbies Playgroup every fortnight for a fun intergenerational activity session.
A group of children between the ages two and four visit the Residents at Chaseview and play a variety of games together, which help to build strong intergenerational bonds. During the sessions Residents have got to learn more about all of the children and look forward to their visits.
The sessions also bring back happy memories of raising their children and grandchildren for Residents, who often share stories of their childhood during the activities.
