HC-One’s Grosvenor Park care home were delighted to welcome children from the local nursery school again, as they had a craft afternoon in honour of Remembrance Sunday.
The Residents and children together created poppies to decorate the home for the event, before enjoying a game of skittles together.
A fun afternoon was spent as Residents enjoyed the company of the children, discussing the importance of Remembrance Sunday and their understanding of the day.
Residents enjoyed interacting with the children and look forward to their next visit. Jackie O’Callaghan, home manager, commented: “We are so glad to see friendships develop between the Residents and children. It has been lovely to welcome the children back into the home again, this time to take part in some Remembrance Sunday crafts.”
