A Resident at HC-One’s brand new Mossdale Residence care home in York has celebrated her birthday in the home, one day after arriving.
On January 23rd, Mossdale Residence welcomed a new Resident, Ann James, who is already loved by staff, and is such a wonderful lady, so happy and fun to be around.
Ann joined the home on Saturday 23rd and on the 24th, when she woke up in her new room it was her birthday.
Colleagues celebrated with flowers in her room, cake and the opening of cards, of which she had received many from her loved ones. The cake was made with her favourite colours and a lovely butterfly design.
Ann and her lovely new friends in the home enjoyed sharing the cake and having a 'cuppa' as they reminisced about all other birthdays she has had, all 82 of them.
“We would all like to wish Ann a very happy birthday and we are so pleased to welcome you in the home here at Mossdale,” said the Colleagues at Mossdale.
