X-treme Falconry makes a flying visit to Bradpole care homeSt James’ Park care home in Bradpole, Bridport enjoyed a flying visit from X-treme Falconry as Residents had the opportunity to meet some exciting birds of prey.

The birds of prey brought to meet Residents included owls, falcons and hawks, including a three week old baby owl who everyone was delighted to meet.

Residents were delighted to learn all about the behaviour, habitats and conservation of each species, before watching demonstration of the birds in flight in the lounge.

The birds were also taken to meet individuals in their rooms, with one of the favourite visitors being the European Tawny Owl.

One Resident said: “I found it most interesting”, while another added: “How lovely to see the birds up so close.”
