Residents at Worsley Lodge care home in Worsley took a walk on the wild side as they visited Knowsley Safari Park.
The trip began with a delicious lunch in the café, followed by a venture around the safari park to meet the various exotic animals there.
Residents were amazed to see the animals walking freely around the park, especially as the lions came right up to the vans.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip and already can’t wait to come back.
One Resident commented: “I really did enjoy the day at the safari park. I’ve never seen a real life lion before, it was so exciting!”
