Residents at Worsley Lodge care home in Worsley, Manchester made the most of the summer sunshine with a trip to Blackpool.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch with a trip to the Air Balloon pub, followed by a scenic drive through Blackpool up to Cleveleys and Lytham.
The visit to Lytham included a walk down the seafront, with Residents cooling down with a refreshing ice cream on the pier.
Residents enjoyed a sing song together while watching the tide come in, before heading back home.
One Resident commented: “My favourite part of the day was looking out to the sea. It brought back a lot of lovely memories.”
