Valentine’s Day celebrations were in full swing at Worsley Lodge care home in Worsley, Manchester as they marked the Day of Love.
Activities began with a quiz, where Residents Stella and Rita were crowned winners of the main prize. This was followed by a love-themed buffet lunch, with entertainment, which was enjoyed over cake and chocolates.
One Resident commented: “The Valentine’s Day celebrations were lovely. Celebrating with everyone together made me so happy.”
Sarah Jane Lyon, Home Manager at Worsley Lodge, said: “Our team went to the greatest efforts to make Valentine’s Day special for our Residents. The home was full of happiness and love, which was really reflected by the smiling faces of our Residents.”
