
Residents at Worsley Lodge care home in Manchester were delighted to receive a special gesture from Swinton Palais Tea Dance representative, Lesley Fisher.
The Tea Dance is one of the Residents’ favourite activities at Worsley Lodge, as it is a safe and welcoming group that enables dementia sufferers to enjoy dancing together.
Everyone at the home was delighted to discover that Lesley had donated £100 for the Residents’ comfort fund, which highlighted the fantastic relationship that Worsley Lodge has with the Tea Dance group leader.
One Resident commented: “Thank you so much to Lesley. That was a lovely thing to do.”
Sarah Jane Lyon, Home Manager at Worsley Lodge, said: “Everyone at the home is so appreciative of Lesley’s kind gesture. We are so proud to support the Dancing with Dementia tea dance project.”
