Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Adelaide House care home were pleased to celebrate ‘World Food Day’ recently.
Residents enjoyed themselves as they tasted a variety of food items whilst attempting to guess which country they each originated from.
Discussion was had by all around the favourite dishes of each country, which caused a diverse range of ideas amongst everyone.
The afternoon was interesting for all as they learned more about the dishes, as well as the cultural differences amongst the countries.
Cristina Capper, home manager, commented: “It was lovely to see everyone coming together to learn from one another, especially amongst our Residents from a diverse range of cultures.”
