Rosalie, a Resident living with Dementia at Barton Brook care home had asked members of the care team if she could go swimming, as this is what she used to really enjoy.
To make her wish come true, the team took her to Eccles Swimming Baths to the dementia swim session. She really loved the swim and the activity team Marie & Shirley went in with Rosalie. This has made Rosalie’s very happy and she really enjoyed her time in the pool.
After the swim everyone went to Four Seasons Café in Eccles Town Centre for teacakes and coffee to refuel after their morning exercise.
