Wish come true for Dartford care home Resident
Resident, Peter, at HC-One’s Priory Mews care home was delighted when he turned 100 years old, and made a wish on the home’s wishing tree.

His wish was to visit the local Royal Engineers museum to see the army tanks, similar to those he would have driven during his time in the war.

Peter was delighted when he found his wish was about to come true, as Colleagues Kelly and Lynda arranged to take him to the museum for the day.

They enjoyed walking around the museum, looking at various items relating to the war, and Peter enjoyed wearing the uniform again, as he told of his experiences and memories.

Rose Akem, home manager, commented: “I am so pleased that Peter enjoyed himself. His wish had truly came true and he was so excited to have gone to the museum. I take such pride in working alongside Colleagues who work hard to ensure the happiness of all the Residents in the home.”
