Winters Park enjoy a visit from Alpacas for Care Home Open DayHC-One’s Winters Park Care Home in Penrith, Cumbria welcomed the local community to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day in style on 21st April.

The family of HC-One homes across the UK took part in activities throughout the day, with Winters Park’s very own Dennis Tweedie playing the Organ throughout the afternoon. Border TV’s Kim Inglis and her partner also brought along their two beautiful Alpacas who made themselves right at home and were thoroughly spoilt by the Residents and visitors.

Winters Park’s very own Home Manager, Sue Thompson, made cream scones, which were served with tea and coffee, and money was raised for the Amenities fund through a raffle.

Winters Park’s General Manager, Susan Thompson said:

“I want to thank everyone for attending our Care Home Open Day, we had such a great turn out. I would also like to thank the team at Winters Park. We had a great time chatting to our neighbours and visitors.”
