Winsford Care Home Enjoys Success in CQC ReportHC-One’s Overdene House Care Home in Winsford, Cheshire is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

The team at Overdene House were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for Colleagues at Overdene House, highlighting the ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by the Residents, who emphasised the kindness that staff provide, as they respect Residents’ independence and encouraging them to do things at their own pace rather than rushing them.

Relatives also remarked how the home has improved the wellbeing of their family members since they moved in, and that it has helped them to re-engage in a positive manner.

Inspectors commented on the level of support provided to Residents, ensuring they are able to take part in activities and hobbies that interest them.
