HC-One’s Kirkwood Court Care Home in Kenton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne hosted a wine and cheese evening on Friday for the Residents.
The team at Kirkwood Court laid out a selection of crackers, pickles and cheeses which the Residents enjoyed sampling whilst listening to ‘sophisticated music’, including Glenn Miller.
They requested Perry Como which several of the Residents got up for a short dance to.
This was a fantastic opportunity for the Residents to mingle and enjoy a good chat, as well as getting to know the Residents from different floors a little better.
Everyone loved that they had the chance to have a drink and socialise together, commenting:
“We didn’t want the night to end!”
