Residents at Avalon Park care home enjoyed a change in the usual menu as they participated in a sophisticated wine and cheese tasting night.
The catering trolley was piled high with delicious goodies including a wide range of cheese, from Brie to Wensleydale and even some Stilton, crackers and a range of chutneys and pickles. Residents were offered the choice of Red or white wine to compliment the cheese.
The event was so popular that the home is now planning to make it a monthly occurrence.
