On the 22nd of December,
Windsor Court, residential, nursing and residential dementia care home, hosted wither very own care awards.
Voted for by Colleagues, Residents and Relatives, Wellbeing and the manager at Windsor Court the very first Care Awards Ceremony took place in the afternoon.
Throughout November voting slips were available along with the different categories and everyone got to voting.
This was an activity everyone could truly get involved in and some awards were even presented by Residents themselves.
Only the manager Julie knew nominations and winners and it was a great surprise.
Winners were as follows:

- Person who makes you SMILE - Laura J
- Managers Award - Helen
- Resident Carer of the Year -Laura C
- Overall Carer of the Year - Kerry
- Kindness in Care Awards - Kev, Claire and Laura C
Everyone was thrilled and the winners were overwhelmed with all the lovely comments and nominations. The Residents also had a great afternoon celebrating all of the Colleagues achievements.
Resident, Lillian Ayre, remarked, “What a great afternoon, with some well-deserved awards given out.”
Julie Harrison, Care Home Manager, added, “It is lovely to be able to give my Colleagues the recognition they deserve.”
