The training had five care assistants attend initially and more are expected in the coming weeks.

Staff Nurse, Sue, who attended the training said, “A wonderful training session which I thoroughly enjoyed”.

Riaz Ali, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “It was wonderful to facilitate these training sessions. Empowering other staff with the knowledge to use these different methods of communication is also a way of building confidence within all parties and improves the delivery and the quality of our care”.
