Willow Court welcomes furry guests for afternoon of cuddles
Residents at Willow Court care home in Lincoln were delighted to welcome the much-loved husky foursome from the Therapy Huskies.
Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of furry cuddles from Thunder, Binny Boo, Stormy and Thor, who are all trained in their approach for different areas such as dementia, end of life and cancer.
The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by all Residents, with many former dog-owners commenting on how much they enjoyed the visit.
One Resident commented: “The huskies were absolutely amazing. They are such gentle, loving animals and really helped to put a smile on my face for the rest of the day.”
Jo Keenan, Home Manager, said: “The visit from the Theraphy Huskies was a great success. The dogs seemed to know which Residents were comfortable with different levels of attention, which was truly remarkable.”
