Willow Brook care home in Carlton, Nottingham, paid its respects to those affected by the war as Residents and Colleagues created a beautiful poppy display for Remembrance Day.
Residents each made their own poppy as they were gathered together to be featured in a beautiful love heart shape on the wall.
For Remembrance Day, Residents joined together to watch the service on TV and took a minute’s silence to pay their respects to the soldiers who sadly lost their lives during the war.
The afternoon continued as Residents reminisced about their experiences of World War 2, with many having Relatives who served for the Armed Forces during the war.
One Resident commented: “It was a really nice way to remember all the soldiers who served during the war.”
