Residents at HC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston took part in a home wide quiz, where Residents answered questions based on different decades in the 1900’s.
Resident Sylvia Warner and Arthur White decided to play first, whilst other Residents watched and encouraged them.
Arthur decided he wanted to play the 1980's category. When you answer correctly you place the bean bag on the decade you have chosen. Arthur managed to answer all the questions in the category 1980's and big cheers went up. Everybody clapped.
Magna care home Resident, Arthur White said: “We look forward to our weekly quiz. And at least we can say we got the answers correct.
Sylvia decided to play the 1950's decade. Sylvia managed to answer questions in the 1950's category and again everyone cheered and clapped.
Magna care home Resident, Sylvia Warner said: “This brings back memories of decades gone by. We are so pleased that we have answered all the questions in our chosen categories.”
The quiz engages the brain and encourages Residents to concentrate as well bringing back nice memories for them from the decades gone by.
