HC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston organised a day trip to the seaside town of Skegness for Residents.
The group arrived at Skegness just in time for lunch, so they visited a local restaurant where they indulged in a traditional fish and chip lunch, some chose a nice cup of tea while others opted for a nice cold beer.
After lunch everyone headed the seafront where they had ice creams and doughnuts as they watched the waves. The trip brought back happy memories of holidaying for Residents who shared their favourite stories of donkey rides, amusements and fairground rides.
A great day was had by all, with Residents commenting that it was a wonderful day and they are already looking forward to the next day trip out.
