The team at Magna was delighted to receive an impressive report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents. This also shows that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible and Well-led.
The inspectors were full of praise for staff at Magna, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for people living at the home. This sentiment was echoed by Residents, who made remarks such as: “I feel very safe and happy, the carers look after us well.” Another person added: “It’s just like living at home.”
The report reflected the variety of stimulating activities available to Residents at the home, including trips to the seaside, coffee mornings and garden centre visits, as those living at Magna were encouraged to play an active part in their community.
Magna’s commitment to wellbeing was highlighted throughout the inspection, as Residents were given the opportunity to pursue their hobbies and interests. One person commented: “Everything about this home is lovely. The flower display is a brilliant idea for Residents to water the flowers daily.”
