HC-One’s Magna care home in Wigston, welcomed the local community to celebrate the sixth annual Care Home Open Day in style on 21st April.
The choirs sang ‘You Are My Sunshine’ at the same time, creating a ‘Big Sing’ that brings HC-One homes across the country together in unison.
The family of HC-One homes across the UK took part in activities throughout the day, with Magna welcoming thirty visitors to celebrate with Residents and staff. A variety of activities and stalls were on offer throughout the day and a BBQ lunch was served.
The De Montfort University Gospel Choir visited the home to take part in the ‘Big Sing’ and perform other songs for the Residents and visitors. The visit is extra special as the Choir appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and are through to the next round.
