Wigan care home team awarded for dedication and kindnessHC-One’s Westwood Lodge care home in Wigan is celebrating the hard work of seven members of the team, six of whom are recognised for their dedication with long service awards and one with a kindness in care award for their thoughtful and conscientious attitude.

Senior Care Assistants, Emma Causey, Catherine Hargreaves and Gaynor McHugh, Nurse Assistant Pat Heaton and Care Assistant Jessica Hartney all received a 5 years’ service award. Care Assistant, Chloe Harrison was also award with a 10 years’ service award. 

Tracey Harris, a Care Assistant at Westwood Lodge also received a Kindness in Care award, she was nominated for this award for always going the extra mile for Residents and her Colleagues. The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013. It recognises the efforts of their kindest Colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones.

Residents watched as the team members were given their awards, they all thanked them for their continuous hard work and loyalty to Westwood Lodge.
