Residents from HC-One’s Westwood Lodge Care Home recently enjoyed a visit to Blackpool for the day.
Everyone took a trip along the pier before enjoying a fish and chip dinner together, as the sun shone over them the entire day.
Of course, no beach trip is complete without an ice cream, and to enjoy this, everyone sat on the beach front and reflected on their wonderful day together, with some even reminiscing of their days on the beach as a child.
Lorraine Young, Home Manager, commented: “A wonderful day has been had by all, and it’s always lovely to see the Residents so happy and enjoying themselves.”
