Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Westwood Lodge care home enjoyed taking a virtual trip to France as they sampled a variety of French delicacies.
A selection of cheeses and crackers were enjoyed by all, accompanied by various different types of wine which Residents enjoyed sampling.
Colleagues provided the treats on a trolley, with delicacies included such as Wensleydale and Cranberry, Cheddar, Red Leicester and Lancashire Crumble cheeses, alongside grapes and pickled onions.
A variety of wines were on offer for Residents to choose from, including different types of white, red and rose.
One Resident enjoyed it so much, as she remarked: “Cheese and crackers are my favourite snack, I have never tried Wensleydale cheese but it was delicious.”
