Residents at HC-One’s Eastbourne House Care Home in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear took a trip down memory lane to Exhibition Park, where some haven’t been since they were children.
With beautiful scenery and the Great North Exhibition taking place, there was something for everyone to look at and it was a massive hit for everyone that attended.
Once Connie Hamersley, Eric Brown, Celia Blair, Sylvia Parr, Irene Fox, Len Watkinson and Norma Watkinson had enjoyed seeing all of the exhibits, they enjoyed their homemade picnic in the sunny park grounds.
It was a memorable day for everyone involved, especially Eric as he had never been to the park before.
