HC-One’s Eastbourne House in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear organised a family BBQ for Residents and their loved ones to celebrate summer together, in spite of the rain on the day, everyone had a wonderful indoor celebration.
The British weather didn’t stop Residents at Eastbourne House enjoying a fun-filled afternoon on Saturday 20th July, their celebrations and delicious BBQ food were all moved indoors, where the team had beautifully decorated the lounge with summer themed bunting and other items.
Gwen Henderson, a Resident at Eastbourne House said: “I loved it! The decorations were fantastic and the burger was delicious.”
Eastbourne House Home Manager, Debbie White said: “What a great celebration, well done to the team for thinking on their feet and working hard to make sure that Residents and their loved ones were still able to enjoy a lovely day together.”
