The dedication and hard work of care professionals was recognised at HC-One’s Eastbourne House in Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear recently in honour of the annual Carers Week campaign.
Carers Week is a nationwide campaign to ‘raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.” This year, the focus is on building communities that support the health and wellbeing of carers.
All members of the team at Eastbourne House were presented with a slice of delicious cake as a thank you gesture for their hard work and dedication to providing the kindest care. Residents said that the cakes were well-deserved and also thanked the team for all of the amazing work they do.
Eastbourne House Home Manager, Debbie White said: “I couldn’t be prouder to work with such a wonderful group of people, everyone works together as a team and always gives 110%.”
