White Gables Residents enjoy animal adventure during Zoolab visitWhite Gables care home in Lincoln was delighted to welcome some special visitors to the home as Residents enjoyed an amazing, animal experience.

During the visit from Zoolab, Residents were given the opportunity to meet, touch and hold a variety of exotic animals, including a corn snake, royal python, tarantula, rats, giant land snails, a bearded dragon, chameleon and tortoises.

Many Residents plucked up the courage to get a hold of the special visitors, while others enjoyed hearing about the animals’ diets, habitats and hunting habits.

One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed meeting all of the animals. I was shocked by my own bravery as I held the tarantula!”

Catherine Mitchell, Home Manager at White Gables, said: “The visit from Zoolab was fantastic. The Residents really enjoyed getting to learn more about each different species and already can’t wait until they visit the home again in the future.”
