Residents from White Gables care home in Lincoln visited a local horse rescue centre this week.
Bransby Horse Sanctuarywas founded in 1968 and cares for over 400 animals.
Residents enjoyed stroking some of the beautiful horses, donkeys and ponies and had some delicious cakes in the café.
After a wet start to the day the sun came out and shone down for a really lovely morning out.
Resident Flora commented:
“They really are beautiful horses, it makes me think of my old horse.”
