Kirkby House residential dementia care home Staff and Residents went to Vegas today, without the need to even leave the building.
The home was fully decorated ‘Las Vegas Style’ (even having a life-size cut out of Elvis Presley himself!)
Residents loved playing roulette and card games, and betting with their chips (all pretend money of course!)
Those involved, including Edna, Betty, Peggy, James and Sarah, enjoyed homemade cocktails, mocktails and cupcakes.
Peggy commented, “I’ve always wanted to go to Vegas and now I’ve been!”
Tracey Conlin, Home Manager, said, “I enjoyed the card games with Residents.”
