As the spooky season is upon us, Residents at HC-One’s
Kirkby House care home, in Knowsley have been starting to make some creative Halloween decorations for use in the home.
Ten Residents at the 44-bed residential dementia care home got together with the activities team and enjoyed painting cardboard pumpkins with lots of glitter.
All those who took part, including Edna, Emma, Josie, Fran, Marg, Lil, Norma, Gladys, Hilda and Sheila, said they really enjoyed doing the activity. Norma spoke about how it took her back to her school days.
Gladys remarked, “I enjoyed painting as it took my back to painting my house.”
Tracey Conlin, Home Manager, commented, “The ladies loved the activity, and the pumpkins will be used to decorate our home. I especially love the glitter!”
