Valerie Rose, who lives at HC-One’s
The Westbury care home, in Wiltshire, celebrated her 105th birthday on 9th November, and it was certainly one to remember.
Accompanied by friends, Relatives and Colleagues throughout the day, she had an audience when opening her card from the new King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla.
Following, an afternoon tea was served in the dining room, at Valerie’s request, and the home’s Chef baked a delicious birthday cake. Along with a special buffet for those involved to enjoy. Valerie’s fellow Residents at the 44-bed residential and nursing care home enjoyed a slice of cake too.
Theresa Chacko, Care Home Manager, and the home’s wellbeing team, commented, “It was lovely to see Valerie downstairs, celebrating her 105th birthday with her friends.”
