Week of excitement at Thamesfield care homeResidents at HC-One’s Thamesfield care home recently enjoyed a week of excitement within the home as they took part in various activities.

They were firstly visited by Ellie, grand-daughter of one of the Residents, as she serenaded the home with her beautiful singing voice. The lounge was filled with individuals as everyone felt extremely privileged to listen to her sing to them with her amazing voice.

Later in the week, Residents enjoyed taking the Henley Handy Bus to visit Maple durham Mill tea rooms and indulge in a cream tea with home made scones made freshly by the miller’s wife.

The journey there took everyone through the beautiful countryside as they could admire the scenic landscape views in the area.

Home Manager, Lina Nela, commented: “A fantastic week has been had by all Residents, we were honoured to welcome Ellie as she sang beautifully for us, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the local tea rooms.”
