Week of activities for Perry Locks ResidentsResidents at HC-One’s Perry Locks care home enjoyed a few activities this week, from an afternoon tea to cake decorating sessions.

Colleagues at the home first hosted an afternoon tea for Residents to enjoy, complete with delicious cakes and sandwiches as well as a variety of refreshing beverages.

As there were a couple of birthdays to be celebrated in the home, it was decided that everyone would enjoy a delicious curry night, complete with everyone’s favourite curries and accompaniments.

Residents have also enjoyed taking part in a variety of cake decorating sessions, creating their own edible masterpieces to be enjoyed during afternoon tea.

Rebecca Bristow, Home Manager, commented: “It’s been a lovely week, Residents have enjoyed seeing their Relatives again and spending time being so active with one another, getting creative.”

Situated in a peaceful residential area of Birmingham, Perry Locks is a friendly care home with 128 beds, offering nursing, residential, nursing dementia and residential dementia care.
