Wednesbury care home team receives award for kindnessHC-One’s Dovedale Court care home in Wednesbury is celebrating the work of the catering team, after receiving a Kindness in Care Award for their thoughtful and conscientious attitudes.

The Kindness in Care Awards programme was launched by HC-One, a leading provider in health and social care, in October 2013.  It recognises the efforts of their kindest Colleagues, and the impact they have on the lives of Residents and their loved ones. Month on month, record breaking numbers of awards are presented to colleagues, volunteers, and whole teams within the family of homes that HC-One operates across the UK.

Dal Harris, Head Chef, Bev Cooper, Sharon Handley and Kim Jones, Kitchen Assistants, Mandy Hudson, Kitchen Assistant/Head Baker, Steph Leavsley and Ryan Wellings, Assistant Cooks were nominated for a Kindness in Care award. Residents commented that they are always smiling and happy to help while their Colleagues said they are all dedicated to providing notorious, delicious, home cooked meals for Residents at Dovedale Court.
